Judy Watson - Free evening

Community Event
Friday, 2018, August 10 -
6:30pm to 7:30pm
Auditorium 2, State Library of Queensland

Judy Watson (Waanyi) is one of Queensland's leading artists with a career spanning thirty years. Her work is held in the collections of major institutions both here and overseas. As one of the subjects of State Library's James C Sourris AM Portrait of an Artist interview series, Judy talks openly and honestly about her background, her inspiration and her process as a practising artist. Come and join us for an intimate evening at State Library, which will include a question and answer session with Judy following the screening of this fascinating insight into how an artist thinks, feels and works.
