As QPAC celebrates its 40th birthday this year and our four proud decades of entertainment, gathering, inclusion and stories, our treasured annual festival Clancestry is a joyous reminder that QPAC’s work follows 60,000 years of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander music, dance, storytelling and community.

The heartbeat of Clancestry’s celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts and culture is inclusion and welcome, with stories and experiences woven through the program that make its centuries-old culture accessible to all.
