Reflective Vigil, Speakers and Singers – Brisbane City Square 31 May

On Sunday, 31 May, we invite you to gather with us for the First Nations Candlelight Vigil 2026, a reflective community event held in solidarity and goodwill with First Nations peoples.
We will come together to honour First Nations history, reflect on the lived experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and create space for truth-telling, healing, listening, and community connection.

Why This Gathering Matters
Truth-telling continues. Together, we acknowledge the ongoing impacts of colonisation, racism, youth justice issues, deaths in custody, and the continued work needed to support justice, healing, and wellbeing for First Nations communities.
